Memphis People's Logo

John Weeden has begun a campaign on Indiegogo to coordinate a design contest for a "Memphis People's Logo" that could better reflect the creative spirit of our city than the current official city seal adopted in 1962.

Well, several Memphis designers have had a problem with this because the format seems like spec work. John has spoken with some in the design community and updated his position on this effort accordingly: http://vitabrevisarts.tumblr.com/post/23243532169/peopleslogologic

I do hope we find a way to come up with a cool new logo for the city.
